FINA is an infertility clinic that provides comprehensive fertility evaluation, treatment, support.

We are a fertility clinic located in Huntsville, AL serving the North Alabama and Middle Tennessee regions. Our Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) specialist, Dr. Brett Davenport, is fellowship trained and double board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and REI. He is dedicated to offering an exceptionally high standard of care that is individualized to your personal needs. Dr.

Davenport understands that infertility and hormonal imbalances are some of the most emotionally, spiritually, and mentally consuming issues that an individual or couple may face, and strives to address each of your needs with grace and compassion. We often work with patients in Madison, Decatur, Guntersville, Albertville, Scottsboro, Florence, Muscle Shoals, Athens, Hartselle, Cullman, Fort Payne, and much of middle Tennessee.

If you've been thinking about taking that first step, we encourage you to go ahead and reach out! You can either call us at 256-217-9613 or visit our website to set up your first consultation.

A couple’s first visit will consist of a consultation with Dr. Davenport. It is at this time that Dr. Davenport will gain a full understanding of your history, and you and Dr. Davenport will decide upon the best treatment plan for you. We encourage both spouses to be present at this visit, although we understand that this is not always possible.

At FINA, we will submit the charges for office visits, labs, ultrasounds, and procedures to your insurance company. Our staff will confirm what services are covered by your insurance, but we encourage all of our patients to verify their coverage as well.

If you do not have insurance or prefer that we do not file your fertility treatment with your insurance company, we offer cash pay packages for your visits. For those services that are not covered by insurance, we try to make them as affordable to you as possible. In these cases, we bundle services together in order to discount the overall cost to you.

Our fertility clinic is designed to personally assist you through this journey. Though you may feel anxious, we are here to walk this journey with you. ❤️

Today is World Embryologist Day! On this day in 1978, the world's first IVF baby was born, and since then there have been amazing advances in fertility medicine that have helped countless couples achieve their dreams of having a baby. 💕

Embryologists play an important role in an IVF clinic. Embryologists are those who study s***m, eggs, and embryos. They will be able to determine which s***m, eggs, and embryos are the healthiest and can be selected for IVF treatment.

We appreciate our embryologist, Katie, so much and the very important work she does!

Walking a fertility journey takes strength, both physical strength AND mental strength. Here are some practical tips that can help you stay mentally strong.

1️⃣ Know that it is normal to have sad and disappointed feelings. This is not something to feel guilty about, but rather a normal response to a real problem. Allow yourself to express your emotions.

2️⃣ Getting mentally connected and understood is a huge step toward healthy coping. Find a friend to confide in. If you have not yet told anybody but your partner about your struggle, you need to! Even if that person has not undergone infertility, they are now on the journey with you.

3️⃣ Find a support group. Whether online or locally, this will allow you to hear of what other couples are going through or went through and will validate your emotions. It will make you feel less isolated and will empower you with knowledge.

4️⃣ Journaling has been shown to provide clarity of thought as to what you are feeling. It will allow you to understand yourself even more.

5️⃣ If you do not already have one, pick up a regular exercise routine. You will find that your hyper-focus on fertility can be re-directed toward a workout, and your stress greatly reduced as a byproduct.

There is much hope for those struggling because technology has come such a long way to help couples reach their pregnancy goals. The above are just a few tips that may help couples feel less lonely and endure the emotional roller coaster of infertility. Our infertility clinic is also designed to personally assist you through this tough time.💕
