FINA is an infertility clinic that provides comprehensive fertility evaluation, treatment, support.

We are a fertility clinic located in Huntsville, AL serving the North Alabama and Middle Tennessee regions. Our Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) specialist, Dr. Brett Davenport, is fellowship trained and double board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and REI. He is dedicated to offering an exceptionally high standard of care that is individualized to your personal needs. Dr. Davenport understands that infertility and hormonal imbalances are some of the most emotionally, spiritually, and mentally consuming issues that an individual or couple may face, and strives to address each of your needs with grace and compassion. We often work with patients in Madison, Decatur, Guntersville, Albertville, Scottsboro, Florence, Muscle Shoals, Athens, Hartselle, Cullman, Fort Payne, and much of middle Tennessee.

Meet Susanna, FINA's Nurse Practitioner! We asked Susanna to share with us some of her background and interests so you can get to know her better.

She was born in Mobile, Alabama, and earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Nursing and Religious Studies from the University of Alabama in 2013. After practicing for several years as an emergency department registered nurse, she returned to graduate school at Vanderbilt University, where she obtained her Master of Nursing, graduated at the top of her class, and earned triple certification as an Emergency, Family, and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

She went on to practice as a nurse practitioner in emergency departments before being drawn to the obstetric emergency setting, where her passion for women’s health, pregnancy loss prevention, and fertility care deepened—shaped profoundly by her own experience with the full term stillbirth of her first daughter, Bethany.
Susanna says "It is a privilege to care for patients at FINA during such a meaningful season of their lives." 💕

Outside of work, she enjoys watercolor painting, gardening, laughing at a good joke, Diet Coke, time with her miniature schnauzers, and traveling with her husband Brian and their toddler daughter Eliza.

“I am so thankful for the FINA staff. Kendra was amazing. I had issues ovulating and I had a miscarriage with my first IUI. I ended up trying again with timed ovulation and got pregnant on 2nd try. I heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time today and I nearly cried. I couldn't be more grateful for everyone there.”

“We are so incredibly grateful for the knowledge, love, and support we received over the years at the Fertility Institute of North Alabama.

I was a patient on and off from 2021 until 2025 - the staff I interacted with over that time has remained almost the same. That was really important to my journey and I was able to build a bond with them. They have phenomenal bedside manner. Trust me when I say that you will miss them once you graduate to your OBGYN. 😝 I primarily interacted with Kendra, Joan, Audra, and Taryn. I appreciate everyone so much.

I'm 31 years old and have unexplained infertility. We tried timed in*******se and a few rounds of intrauterine insemination with no luck. It took pursuing IVF with Dr. Davenport and his team to achieve my first ever pregnancy.

Through the grace of God, I became pregnant on my first transfer. I am so incredibly excited to become a first time mom in June of 2026!

I will never forget the moment when the embryologist handed me a photo of my baby and said that she had my first baby photo right there. I cried.

If you've been thinking about taking that first step, we encourage you to go ahead and reach out! You can either call us at 256-217-9613 or visit our website to set up your first consultation.

A couple’s first visit will consist of a consultation with Dr. Davenport. It is at this time that Dr. Davenport will gain a full understanding of your history, and you and Dr. Davenport will decide upon the best treatment plan for you. We encourage both spouses to be present at this visit, although we understand that this is not always possible.

At FINA, we will submit the charges for office visits, labs, ultrasounds, and procedures to your insurance company. Our staff will confirm what services are covered by your insurance, but we encourage all of our patients to verify their coverage as well.

If you do not have insurance or prefer that we do not file your fertility treatment with your insurance company, we offer cash pay packages for your visits. For those services that are not covered by insurance, we try to make them as affordable to you as possible. In these cases, we bundle services together in order to discount the overall cost to you.

Our fertility clinic is designed to personally assist you through this journey. Though you may feel anxious, we are here to walk this journey with you. ❤️

Located just a couple of blocks from Huntsville Hospital at 808 Turner St, we are an infertility clinic that provides comprehensive fertility evaluation, treatment, and support, serving Huntsville, all of North Alabama, and Middle Tennessee. (For those of you who are local, our street is right between the Chick-fil-A and Starbucks on Governors Dr. It's a great spot!) Our clinic includes a state-of-the-art lab and also our Reproductive Surgery Center.

As a double board certified and fellowship-trained specialist in reproductive medicine, Dr. Davenport and his staff offer various forms of reproductive treatment options, including conservative and advanced assisted reproductive technologies (ART).

We feel that our philosophy of individualized patient care combined with the most current treatment strategies and skilled techniques, including in vitro fertilization and INVOcell, will give you the best possible chances of a successful pregnancy.💕
