We've added quite a few populations to our STR genetic database over the last 16 months 🌎🧬

*We will also be introducing an option for purchasing an update for only your population lists for $30. This option includes 28 STR mixed, 28 STR unmixed, 28 STR Deep Dive, 17 STR Mixed, and specific population lists (Native American Population list for example). This product will be available later today in our online store, and is a good option if you're only interested in seeing how your populations and numbers have changed. It includes everything EXCEPT the Certificate of Ancestry and world maps.

SNPs are a bit more precise than STRs in determining genetic admixture percentages, although STRs are typically better at indicating the world populations found within a person's genome.
