Please join us in welcoming our new associate, Dr. Lillian Bonner-Smith to our CMFT family! Lillian is a licensed doctorate-level counselor and a dedicated advocate for inclusive mental health care. With over nine years of professional experience, Dr. Smith has built a career centered on serving individuals with multiple disabilities.

Dr. Smith specializes in working with adults and seniors who are Deaf, hard of hearing, blind, low vision, Deaf/Blind, and neurodivergent. Beyond direct service, she is a sought-after consultant and trainer for agencies seeking to improve their capacity to support individuals with complex disabilities. As a licensed doctorate-level counselor, Dr. Smith’s professional mission is to foster accessible and inclusive environments across mental health and public service systems. She believes in empowering every individual to be seen as “more than enough,” regardless of ability. Please join us at CMFT for our newly launched Addiction & Recovery Support Group. The support group is being led by William Bledsoe, LPC- who is a part of our CMFT family. This group is open to individuals who are struggling with addiction or are in recovery. The group will be held on Saturdays and begin on April 12th from 9:30am to 11:30am for a total of 6 weeks. The cost is $35 per session, and you are welcome to join at any point (you may choose to attend one session or participate in all six—attendance is completely flexible). Please join us in welcoming our new intern, Ms. Tianna Edwards to our CMFT family! Tianna has a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Akron (Ohio). She has a passion for parenting and is a certified Nurturing Parenting Facilitator. Tianna also has over 10 years’ experience working with families to strengthen their connections by improving communication and increasing positive interactions. She strives to help you create a balance in your relationships.

Her clinical approach includes Emotion Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She has experience working with individuals, families, and couples struggling with anxiety, depression, parenting, family conflict, life transitions, self-esteem, and medical trauma. Please join us at CMFT for our newly launched Divorce Support Group. The support group is being led by Hannah Coleman, LMFTA and Stephanie Myers, LMFTA who are a part of our CMFT family. This group is open to individuals who are currently navigating the divorce process, have previously gone through it, or are in the early stages of considering divorce. The group will be held on Thursdays and begin on April 3rd from 6:30pm to 7:30pm for a total of 6 weeks. The cost is $40 per session, and you are welcome to join at any point (you may choose to attend one session or participate in all six—attendance is completely flexible).
