Mid April means the end of a semester for universities around the Valley. Students and faculty at Oakwood University got a break from studies to reset and renew with three of our therapy animal teams, Robyn with Ranger, Caroline with Holly, and Lyndsay with Philip.

🐾✨ Congratulations to Teddy, our final graduate of the night! ✨🐾

We wrapped up the evening celebrating Teddy, a 6-year-old mini doodle with his handler, Brian.

Teddy's favorite activity is playing with his sister poppy! While he may enjoy fun and play at home, Teddy has a calm and comforting presence that makes him a perfect fit for therapy work. He’ll be visiting Magnolia Trace Assisted Living, where he’ll spend his days making meaningful connections with residents.

We couldn’t think of a better way to close out graduation night than with this sweet boy. Welcome to the team, Teddy! 💙🐾

Piper, our third graduate of the night, and her handler Chris officially completed the Therapy Partners program! 💙

This 5-year-old Golden Retriever is full of energy. Her favorite activity is running around the house 🐶💨, and now she’s ready to share that happiness with others

Piper and Chris will be serving at Fox Army Health Center and Huntsville Airport.

Rupert, our second graduate of the evening, and his handler Jennie officially completed the Therapy Partners program last night! 💙

This adorable Havanese has two favorite things: his toys and relaxing on the couch 🧸🛋️

Rupert and Jennie will be serving at the Children’s Advocacy Center, bringing comfort and support to children and families during difficult times.

At just 4 years old, this sweet Aussiedoodle favorite activity is cuddling 💙🐶 Whether it’s offering comfort, companionship, or simply a warm snuggle, Ranger is ready to make a meaningful impact.

Ranger and Robyn will be visiting Huntsville Airport and Carillon Oaks Assisted Living, where we know they will bring smiles, calm, and joy to everyone they meet.
