🚨🆘🚨URGENT!! 🚨🆘🚨

Our friends and family members in Assisted Living need our help! DHS has announced that they will not be increasing their Medicaid reimbursement rates which will hurt facilities with maintaining adequate staffing, meet rising costs in food and utilities, as well as continuing to provide the quality care the residents rely on. Many facilities, especially rural facilities, will be forced to not be able to accept Medicaid or even have to close their facilities.

We lost count of how many came, but we are so thankful for everyone who stopped by to trick-or-treat with our residents! They enjoyed every minute of seeing all the kids in their costumes — what a fun night full of smiles and sweet memories! 🍬🧡

We made the best of this rainy, cold day! We had some wonderful singers, Robert and Theresa Peoples from Durham Freewill Baptist Church that sang and played for us and oh, how the we all had the best time! This afternoon we enjoyed some fried pies and coffee! Happy Fall!! 🍁🍂🍁
