Huntsville Health Care Center, located in Walker County, utilizes a team approach to meet the rehabilitative needs of our residents. Therapists communicate with nurses to monitor the individualized rehabilitation plans of care that are developed and carried out throughout the stay. Consultant dietitians, dietary staff, and speech therapists work together to provide specialized diet textures and therapeutic diets for residents with swallowing or nutritional issues. Direct-care staff is frequently trained by therapy staff to learn specific treatment techniques for specific illnesses. Huntsville Health Care Center is Huntsville’s oldest, most established Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Our deep community roots allow us to partner with many home health agencies, medical equipment providers, and other community resources to help make your transition to home after our care as easy and stress-free as possible.
