Burn Collective

Burn Collective Pilates • Yoga • HIIT set to RAD music and a party atmosphere! Our goal is for our clients to gain strength AND confidence. Your body will never steer you wrong.

(NASHVILLE CLASSES COMING IN APRIL!) Our unique training method fuses Pilates, functional strength training and yoga to deliver a workout that provides strength, mobility, and flexibility. Our workouts are effective and the playlists are rad, but what we are most proud of is our community. We know what it's like to feel intimidated about starting something new and we want to make sure we provide that most comfortable environment as possible. We encourage clients to LISTEN TO THEIR BODIES and not worry about what their neighbor is doing.

Our Story

Our founder, Heather Murphy, started her fitness career with one- on- one training and fell in love with the personal connection this type of environment provided. It was truly a life- changing experience watching her clients reach goals and gain confidence they had never seen in themselves before.

A couple years into this she discovered reformer Pilates where she fell in love (once again) with the Pilates method and the small group environment this type of program offered. Soon after, she began training to teach under the tutelage of Jenny Freeman where she immersed herself in Jenny’s unique training method.

Heather loved the Pilates method, but craved a more inclusive, laid- back environment that high- end boutique fitness studios could not offer, so she decided to open her own studio in an oversized garage in downtown Huntsville.

She knew she couldn’t utilize the reformer if she wanted to create an inclusive space for everyone, so she started playing with her own program, fusing her love of functional strength training, Pilates and Yoga into one workout. This proved to be extremely effective. Once she decided to integrate killer music into the mix, she knew this was a crazy fun workout even the least motivated client could get behind.
