We had a spooktacular afternoon at of Bellevue celebrating Halloween with Trunk or Treat! Lynsey & Lindsey from Stride Mobility loved sharing treats, swag, and smiles with the residents and community—cookie costumes, candy, spooky suckers, and light wands were a hit! Special thanks to Andrea for the invitation and for making this event so memorable. Happy Halloween! 🎃👻

Stride Mobility’s Lynsey Fairbanks, MOTR/L, CLT, ATP and Complex Rehab Specialist, Russ Scoglietta, recently led a hands-on session for the OT doctorate class at the University of Toledo. They emphasized the importance of accurate measurements and demonstrated how vacuum bean bag molds capture the body's exact contours, which are used to customize each patient's chair. Thank you, Professor Rachel Stanton, MS, OTR/L for the invitation.

He highlighted how proper seating and accurate measurements are essential in reducing the risk of the many medical issues that can arise by prolonged sitting.

Bryan Benedict, ATP, and Russ Scoglietti recently led an insightful in-service session at Mercer Health, emphasizing the importance of a well-fitted wheelchair in preventing pressure sores. Proper seating plays a critical role in distributing weight evenly, reducing pressure points, and minimizing the risk of skin damage from prolonged sitting. A big thank you to Wound/Ostomy Care specialists Stephanie Stopher, CNP, and Michelle Ashman, CNP, for their valuable contributions and leadership during this session!
