Community Counseling Services of South Dakota Community Counseling Services serves Beadle, Hand, Jerauld, Kingsbury, Lake, Miner, and Moody counties in South Dakota.

Community Counseling Services offers various options for outpatient behavioral health services across South Dakota in the seven counties that we serve: Beadle, Lake, Miner, Moody, Hand, Jerauld, and Kingsbury. CCS provides outpatient psychiatric services, therapy, case management, addiction services and many classes to support those who suffer from any type of mental illness. Our mission is to promote healthy individuals and families in the communities we serve.

This is one of the most powerful psychological tools ever discovered. When you're stressed, sad, angry or overwhelmed, your brain panics because it doesn't understand the emotion fully. But if you simply name the emotion something incredible happens. The emotional part of your brain, the amygdala, actually reduces its activity meaning the emotion becomes less intense.

- General Ledger & Reporting: Maintain liability and prepaid accounts; assist with monthly financials by running reports and entering GL entries.
- Audit Preparation: Assist the CFO in preparing for the annual audit, year-end (YE) workpapers, workers' comp audits, and specialized cost reporting.
- Asset & Tax Management: Handle depreciation calculations, entries, and tax reporting.
- Budgets & Grants: Assist with budget preparation and manage financial tracking for grants and insurance.
- Operational Support: Assist with contracts and maintain miscellaneous financial spreadsheets.
Accounts Payable Management
- AP Oversight: Maintain all accounts payable records for the entire agency, ensuring bills are coded correctly.
- Invoice & Expense Tracking: Match monthly statements to invoices for charge cards; track and maintain credit and fuel cards for employees.
- Systems & Payments: Record invoices into the Business Works program, and prepare and mail payments twice per month.
