Highly recommend read for anyone in the midst of raising or heading into the adolescent years of parenting.

The mindset is that of planned emancipation, raising adults - not children and allowing the kids to have freedoms in order to experience consequences and learn now before it's too late.

I will likely run a workshop in the spring that build on some of these concepts with a blend of my guiding the heart of a child material. This is good stuff y'all!

Life can feel like a wilderness when everything familiar is shifting, new jobs, new roles, new seasons, or even unexpected detours. But what if this wilderness isn’t a dead end or a pit dispare? What if it is the very launching point of God’s “new thing”?

Grounded in Isaiah 43:19, this study will help you see your in-between moments not as places of fear and dread, but as opportunities for growth and transformation. With the combined wisdom of Scripture and neuroscience, we’ll learn how to embrace uncertainty with curiosity and hope rather that fear and apprehension.

Have your Bible, a notebook, a snack and a heart of curiosity to this VIRTUAL gathering. Together, we’ll discover how to walk through transition with faith, trusting that God’s "new thing" is a good thing, even when the path looks unfamiliar.

The Life Seasons Fall Retreat 2025 was an immense blessing! We learned that letting go of the "I'm Fine" mask brings true freedom and healing. I am so grateful for this beautiful day, wonderful people, and God's boundless love! Thank you all for your prayers leading up to and throughout the retreat. Thank you once again to Little Tennessee Event Farm for this beautiful and healing space! It always feels like home when we gather here. And thank you to my dear friends, staff, Momma, Daughter and husband for pushing us across the finish line! 💕

This is an incredible opportunity for those struggling with emotional regulation such as anger, anxiety, embarrassment, fear, and feelings of overwhelm. The dynamic nature of horses provides a unique setting to navigate the uncertainty of new experiences, not being perfect, and to encounter the unknowns without fear of criticism. Equine therapy offers a valuable opportunity to practice and refine emotional regulation skills in a supportive environment and in real time.
