Dear valued patients and friends,
I have news. Firstly, let me say it has been a privilege and an honor serving you and the Hutchinson community over the past ten years. I can truly say that I have enjoyed my time being your dentist and caring for your teeth. You, as our reliable patients, and our wonderful staff, have made my job fun and enjoyable. However, I have decided to relocate to the Kansas City area to be closer to family. I have not yet found a new practice to join, but I’m sure an opportunity will present itself soon.
Rest assured, I will not be leaving you without care. Dr. Brett Lyman will be taking over my practice effective immediately. He is an excellent dentist and will be supported by our awesome staff and hygienists.
Dr. Lyman grew up in the small Kansas town of Ellinwood before heading off to Kansas State University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in biology. From there, he attended Creighton University School of Dentistry, where he served as President of the American Student Dental Association and spent time traveling abroad to the Dominican Republic to service on a life-changing dental mission trip.
Since graduating dental school in 2020, Dr. Lyman has gained invaluable experience working in different clinical settings and treating a wide range of patients, including a strong emphasis on young patients and those with special needs. He loves working with patients, getting to know them, but more importantly, educating them and encouraging patients to ask questions about their care. His goal is to treat his patients with respect, transparency, and making sure you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in the door, until the moment you leave.
You will continue to see familiar faces in the dental office as the entire team will remain to introduce you to Dr. Lyman. All your records will remain in the office and future appointments will stand as scheduled. Please be assured that I will be available to Dr. Lyman to answer any questions he may have about you and your dental needs.
Thank you again for your trust. I have been honored by the many great years we’ve had together and will be glad to see that continue within the practice of Dr. Lyman for years to come.

We are happy to announce a new Hygienist to the Ediger Family Dental Team! Welcome Ginger Scripsick!

Ginger has worked as a dental hygienist for over 17 years. She grew up in Zenda, KS and has lived in Hutchinson since 2003. She attended Hutchinson Community College and Wichita State University where she received her Associates degree in dental hygiene. Ginger says she enjoys working with patients to help them along the path to a healthy smile. With years of experience in the dental field she is committed to providing a comfortable visit and a gentle cleaning. Outside of work Ginger and her husband Brant are busy raising 3 boys who are active in school and sports.
