Our amazing Clinical Director, Lindy, led a heartwarming ceramic painting class for both residents and team members — and it was a beautiful blend of creativity, connection, and laughter!

Everyone had a chance to explore their artistic side through hands-on expression, and the joy in the room was contagious.

National Assisted Living Week is taking off—literally!

The Oaks & Pines Team Members are soaring into celebration with our hot air balloon-themed journey across the U.S.!

Monday: We launched with a Northeastern Adventure led by our amazing Executive Director, Kelsey O. Since the area is known for its lavendar farms, Naomi and Dani stopped by to make some lavendar sachets.

Tuesday: Melanie accompanied residents on hot air balloon rides over the southeastern states where Southern Charm filled the air. Congratulations to Carrie S. for winning our Southern States Trivia Contest! 🏆

Stay tuned as we continue our journey through different regions with fun, learning, and lots of team spirit!

Our residents set out for a casual bus ride and turned it into a full-on adventure! First stop: McDonald’s for hot fudge sundaes—with fries for dipping (a must-try combo!).

With treats in hand and smiles all around, we wrapped up the outing with a visit to Butler Field to watch the planes and take in the sights.

Nothing like a little spontaneity to sweeten the day!

Ecumen Oaks & Pines team members, residents and families joined Hutchinson Health and the Hutchinson community by "CHALKing about Mental Health." Hopefully our creativity brightened someone's day with our cheerful drawings and powerful messages of hope.

A thoughtful donation with a big impact!

A generous family member recently gifted our community a wonderful collection of puzzle books—including crosswords, word searches, Sudoku, variety puzzles, adult coloring books, and more.

Residents had the chance to choose their favorites, supporting Intellectual Wellness through mental stimulation, Emotional Wellness by fostering relaxation and joy, and even Social Wellness as they shared and worked on puzzles together.

We are so grateful for gifts like this that support resident well-being in such meaningful ways!

Residents said, “Let’s go to Buddy Boy BBQ,” and we said, “Hop in!” A flavorful afternoon in Minnetrista full of smoked meats, smiles, and memories worth savoring.

Murals, frozen yogurt, and a whole lot of fun!

When our residents heard there were 29 murals around town, they said, “Let’s go!” Our first attempt in June was rained out, but July gave us perfect weather and an even better adventure.

We tracked down 21 murals on our outing and loved every minute of it! Along the way, we made a sweet stop at Below Zero for frozen yogurt and a little break in the shade.

Looks like we’ll be planning Round 2 in August to find the rest because you know we won’t stop at 21!
