Our residents set out for a casual bus ride and turned it into a full-on adventure! First stop: McDonald’s for hot fudge sundaes—with fries for dipping (a must-try combo!).

With treats in hand and smiles all around, we wrapped up the outing with a visit to Butler Field to watch the planes and take in the sights.

A thoughtful donation with a big impact!

A generous family member recently gifted our community a wonderful collection of puzzle books—including crosswords, word searches, Sudoku, variety puzzles, adult coloring books, and more.

Residents had the chance to choose their favorites, supporting Intellectual Wellness through mental stimulation, Emotional Wellness by fostering relaxation and joy, and even Social Wellness as they shared and worked on puzzles together.

We are so grateful for gifts like this that support resident well-being in such meaningful ways!

Murals, frozen yogurt, and a whole lot of fun!

When our residents heard there were 29 murals around town, they said, “Let’s go!” Our first attempt in June was rained out, but July gave us perfect weather and an even better adventure.

We tracked down 21 murals on our outing and loved every minute of it! Along the way, we made a sweet stop at Below Zero for frozen yogurt and a little break in the shade.

Looks like we’ll be planning Round 2 in August to find the rest because you know we won’t stop at 21!

When a resident says, "Let’s go to the movies!"... We make it happen!

One of our residents asked if we could take a trip to the theater to see the new Jurassic Park movie. So, we loaded up the bus and headed out for a matinee adventure.

The popcorn was hot, the dinosaurs were fierce, and the excitement was real—there was even clapping after the movie!

Moments like these remind us how fun it is to say YES to spontaneous joy.

There’s nothing better than fresh air and great company! Our residents soaked up a beautiful evening together, enjoying conversation, laughter, and the peaceful charm of summer at Ecumen Oaks & Pines.

Mystery Envelope Madness! Our amazing Team Members were recently surprised with mystery envelopes — each hiding a fun or quirky prize! From jars of pickles to the chance to pass along an undesirable task to leadership, the reactions were priceless.

Team member Bri definitely scored big — she happily passed her task along to Lindy, our Clinical Director, with a big smile and a few laughs!

We’re so grateful for our team and love finding creative ways to show our appreciation.
