Attention to all current seniors who are part of HHS PTSA.
HHS PTSA is offering two $500.00 scholarships to two seniors. The scholarship application will be accessible starting from March 4th, with the deadline set for April 12th.
Applications will be evaluated by teachers and members of the Hutto community. The scholarship recipients will be revealed during the April membership meeting. If you are not a member of HHS PTSA but are interested, you can join PTSA at https://www.joinpta.org/

Happy New Year, peeps! Whoa, can you believe how fast this school year is zooming by?! Don't blink or you might miss out on some exciting things we have lined up:
• Senior Signs: Calling all seniors! We're selling Senior Signs for a limited time. Keep those eagle eyes peeled for more info soon.
• Membership Meeting: Our next Membership Meeting will be on February 12th at HHS at 6:00 PM. Save the date!
• Volunteers Needed: The Student Council needs your help for their Spring Dance on February 17th. Keep your eyes peeled for a sign-up genius link coming soon.
• PTSA Scholarship Applications: Hey, senior PTSA members! You can apply for the HHS PTSA Scholarship starting March 4th until April 12th. We're giving away two $500 scholarships. Winners will be announced at our April 15th Membership Meeting. Don't miss out!

Amidst the busyness of January. Due to my hectic schedule this month and pre-scheduled meetings, an in-person meeting for Prom planning is not feasible. However, I'm sharing crucial information about our progress and ways you can contribute to making this event memorable.

Basic Information:

Date: May 4th
Time: 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Venue: Haute Spot (Capacity: 2,000)
Theme: Floating Lights
Main Color Theme: Purple and Gold
Ticket Details:

Early Bird Tickets: $55 (on sale post Spring Break for two weeks)
Full Price Tickets: $60
Guest Passes available end of February
Student Meetings:

Every Monday in room 205 (Tuesday for next week due to the holiday)
Jan. 13th, 9 am: Organizing previous prom supplies
Jan. 16th: Choosing a weekday for student decoration assistance; Saturdays at 9 am and deciding if Saturdays work. Parents will be welcome to come help make lanterns once we get the supplies.

Volunteer Opportunities:

-Seeking parents to contact local businesses for donations (gift cards, gear, or monetary contributions)
-Looking for company or other sponsors for students who cannot afford a ticket ($55)

Decorations:

-Need donations for a pallet couch setup, we already have pallets.
-Fundraisers ongoing for additional funds
- Any materials from the Youtube videos below, hula hoops or dollar tree items.
