I never really wanted to work with kids when I thought of becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist. That has drastically changed. There is something amazing and so cool about working with young child victims of Trauma. Their processing through play therapy is so heartwarmingly amazing. What comes out of our children through play is so telling. Parents, take the time, play a board game, do art work with your child, have a dance party, invest in a sand tray, create that safe space, and your child will open their world to you. Call me if your child is having behavioral or emotional challenge. Play or Filial therapy may be what your family needs.
