Kristen has been a Nurse Practitioner for over a decade, initially working in primary care, then emergency medicine, and ultimately landed in surgery. In 2020, NP Russell also began work as a Medical Marijuana (MMJ) Certifying Provider in addition to her work in the hospital operating room. Her goal has been to properly provide alternative methods of support to patients. In order to provide care in alignment with her own beliefs, Kristen wanted to be able to give patients options not otherwise available by traditional means. FlowerMedical is currently accepting new patients for MMJ certifications and re-certifications.

There's still time to register for our Women's Grief Group, a 5-week peer support program starting next Monday. This group is offered free of charge to Cape & Islands women who are grieving a death loss, and will meet on the following dates at Wellfleet Public Library:
