“What made your rehab stay a success?

I have had spinal fusions two times before. Both other times, the PT’s and OT’s were very aggressive in forcing my therapy. When I was released I felt like I was not ready and barely able to walk. Here at The Pavilion, Samantha, Brenda, Stacey and Marge started me off slowly and made sure that I progressed at my own comfortable pace while at the same time pushed me forward with my efforts to progress in my strength and build upon my body’s efforts. Samantha was especially instrumental in my effort to hold my posture while doing the exercises and building strength in walking up and down the full set of stairs, which is, or should I say WAS my biggest fear going home.

Would you return to us if you needed rehab again?

I would and will definitely return to The Pavilion for any therapy needs in my future. The staff is the most attentive, professional and caring that I have experienced compared to the other three rehab centers that I have been in… Overall the best experience I have had in a rehab facility and I will definitely recommend it to all my friends and relatives.

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Rebecca 🌟

Rebecca has been part of the Pavilion Rehab Department for over 9 years, serving 8 of those as our outstanding Director of Rehab! She finds her role deeply rewarding—leading a 5-star therapy team, mentoring others, and helping patients achieve outstanding outcomes.

Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her kids, gardening, and crafting. She’s LSVT and Pulmonary certified and shares her expertise through community presentations at local Senior Centers and ALFs.

Her leadership, compassion, and dedication make her a true role model—and an essential part of our Pavilion family! 💙👏

BreatheWell Success at The Pavilion!

Ray came to us after a serious fall and hospitalization, facing mobility and breathing challenges. With the support of our BreatheWell Pulmonary Program—including the ACPlus® Respiratory Assessment, OmniFlow® biofeedback, and daily therapy—Ray regained his stability, improved his breathing, and is now back home, independent and stronger than ever.

After a fall and surgery to repair a femur fracture, Debbie came to The Pavilion determined to regain her independence. With daily Physical and Occupational Therapy sessions focused on strength, balance, and mobility, Debbie is now heading home stronger and more confident.

Her words say it best:

“The care I was given by nursing staff and CNA’s was outstanding! The group of Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists cared for me as if I were a part of their family. They helped me through the hard days of therapy by encouraging me at each milestone.”

Rehab Success Story: Harlow

“When I entered The Pavilion, I was constantly coughing and had erratic blood pressure, causing me to faint and fall. The Pavilion staff stabilized my blood pressure through exercise and medication, and the coughing ceased with proper food preparation and swallowing techniques.

Other essential instructions—such as how to get in and out of bed, proper use of the rollator, and bathroom care—helped me gain the skills I needed. The ‘can-do’ attitude of the therapists, nurses, and caregivers has given me the tools to return home successfully.

I would rate The Pavilion 5 stars! It made me feel confident to return home. Thank you to everyone!”

The Pavilion is proud to support the APDA Cape Cod Optimism Walk!

Join us on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Falmouth High School Track as we come together to raise awareness and support for those living with Parkinson’s Disease.

Our team will be at the event table with information on our GracefulMotion Movement Disorder Program, a specialized rehab program designed to help individuals with Parkinson’s and other movement disorders improve mobility, strength, and confidence.

The Pavilion’s Outdoor Ambulators Club, with our Physical Therapy team, made the most of a perfect summer day!
