The Pavilion is proud to support the APDA Cape Cod Optimism Walk!

Join us on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Falmouth High School Track as we come together to raise awareness and support for those living with Parkinson’s Disease.

Our team will be at the event table with information on our GracefulMotion Movement Disorder Program, a specialized rehab program designed to help individuals with Parkinson’s and other movement disorders improve mobility, strength, and confidence.

The Pavilion’s Outdoor Ambulators Club, with our Physical Therapy team, made the most of a perfect summer day!

Residents enjoyed fresh air, sunshine, and great conversation while working on strength, endurance, and balance during their stroll. Nothing like a little movement and Vitamin D to brighten the day!

BreatheWell Success!
Jane entered our BreatheWell Pulmonary Program at The Pavilion, where the ACPlus® Respiratory Assessment guided a personalized plan to improve her breathing, strength, and endurance. With the support of our skilled therapy and pulmonary teams, she achieved her goal of returning home completely independent.

Growing Stronger Together at The Pavilion!

These three amazing women have become fast friends during their rehab stay, cheering each other on, offering encouragement, and celebrating each step forward in their recovery. One of them even calls The Pavilion “Senior Summer Camp,” and we couldn’t agree more!

Today, they joined a therapy group session in the sunshine, tending to our vegetable garden, planted and maintained by our rehab patients. It was a perfect blend of friendship, fresh air, and functional mobility work, like standing endurance, balance, and walking on uneven ground.

Smiles, laughter, and progress… that’s what summer at The Pavilion is all about!

At The Pavilion, David worked hard in our BreatheWell program after being hospitalized for acute hypoxic respiratory failure. With the support of our respiratory therapist and pulmonologist Dr. Herrick, he rebuilt his strength and improved his breathing using tools like the ACPlus® Respiratory Assessment, OmniFlow®, and Synchrony®.

“When I came in, I was using oxygen when exercising and could only walk short distances. I met my goals. The overall stay was pleasant. Everyone was congenial, and it was a good atmosphere.”
