When Cape Cod Hospital medical oncologist Jaclyn Flanigan, MD, learned she had been named this year’s medical honoree for the annual Soiree for Alice’s Classroom, she said she was “surprised and flattered,” calling it “the most special honor I’ve had since I’ve been at Cape Cod Hospital.”

Soiree for Alice’s Classroom to benefit Cape Codders with cancer will be held Sept. 11 in Osterville.

CCHC operates six urgent care centers that run seven days a week. The Hyannis, Harwich, Falmouth and Sandwich locations are open year-round. Osterville and Orleans are seasonal, from May to early fall. A seventh urgent care center will be opening in The Pinehills in Plymouth in early July.

Cape Cod Healthcare teams proudly participated in Hyannis Open Streets this past weekend, helping to support community connection, social engagement and a fun time for all!

CCHC is a proud sponsor of the 8th annual Hyannis Open Streets pedestrian-only events on Main Street, Hyannis which encourage social, environmental, economic and public health ideals while highlighting everything historic downtown has to offer for residents and visitors.

As part of our commitment to health equity, Dr. Kumara Sidhartha, chief health equity and wellness officer, and Ceci Phelan-Stiles, director of language access and health equity, engaged attendees with educational information a survey opportunity focused on improving blood pressure health among Black patients—a key effort in addressing this health disparity in our community. Steve R. from the blood donation team provided valuable resources for interested donors and invited attendees to tour the CCHC blood mobile.
