We made fragrance satchels today for our welcome home baskets for our newest residents at Independence Court of Hyattsville and everyone had a hand in the art of it all! We wrapped wax melts into little squares of fabric and added some floral accents to add to the aesthetic and placed it into lace drawstring bags! These go great in your bathrooms or in your dresser drawers! Beauty in a bag! We think that makes perfect "scents" ❤️🌸☺️

Our community outings at Independence Court of Hyattsville are always a fan favorite and something our residents look forward to! This week, we went to Bladensburg Waterfront to enjoy the sun, a milkshake and get some steps in! It was a beautiful day and everyone had a fantastic time!

We are still basking in the aftermath of the fun had with the Hyattsville Police Department from the Emergency Response Apprection Luncheon we hosted this past Thursday. We are so grateful for the opportunity to show appreciation to the department and we are thrilled that they felt the love and sentiment from Independence Court of Hyattsville for all that they do. It was such a great time and we look forward to doing it again in the future! ❤️

We welcomed the Hyattsville Police Department yesterday for an emergency responders appreciation luncheon! They enjoyed a fun game of fooseball and visited with the residents. Our culinary team provided the officers Turkey and Swiss on croissant, chips, sugar cookies and drinks! It was a pleasure to have them in our community to show appreciation for all that they do for the city of Hyattsville and for Independence Court of Hyattsville! ❤️
