What We Believe...
At Breakthrough Developmental Services (BDS), we believe that everyone can learn, grow and live a more independent life. We love to help people with developmental, intellectual and learning differences reach these goals. We do this by teaching social, academic and daily living skills using applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Our clients are people with developmental, intellectual and learning disorders... and their families. We also provide training and assistance to outside organizations and companies that would like to learn more about ABA and the types of disorders that we are able to help with.

BDS is a caring group of people who want to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Through interviews, observations and assessments, we provide an individually tailored program to meet your unique needs. Our intervention plans take into account current abilities as well as future goals. We help you build a community of support around your child to help them live a more successful and independent life.
Services We Offer
Parent Coaching
You’re a parent who needs assistance in working with or interacting with your child. You may not have a service provider close by, but still want quality services. You would like to learn how to teach your child a variety of skills or recapture the dream that you had for your child when they were born.
Creating Success Program
You’re a busy parent who doesn’t need to take on another task. You may have more than one child and between sports, music or other afterschool activities, you don’t have the time to schedule or oversee a program... even though you want to.
You may need assistance with teaching activities of daily living, social, communication or academic skills. You need a breakthrough... and you need it right now. Let Breakthrough Developmental Services help you with our Creating Success Program!
Our students have been able to successfully master many of the skills that your child needs help with right now. Whether it’s toileting, reading, dressing, counting or one of the many other skills that students need to learn, BDS can help you put your child on the path to becoming a more independent person.
Autism Waiver Services
You spent a long time waiting on the registry for services or you have a provider and are interested in a change. Your child may be a bit older now, but may still needs assistance with functional skills and the activities of daily living. You are ready to begin services with a company you feel comfortable with and can trust. One that will treat you and your child like family while providing your child with quality services and getting them on the path towards becoming more independent.

School Services - BDS consultants can assist you with your child’s needs by providing school observations and IEP review. Our consultants are trained to make impartial observations in schools and provide you with feedback concerning your child’s needs.
