We are pleased to announce that starting September 1st, due to incredible popular demand, we are trialing a small primary care practice for adult patients, spearheaded by Jen Lown, FNP-BC & Jen Petkos, FNP-BC. We will be taking information for adult patients for Direct Primary Care (DPC). The DPC model is an innovative way for primary healthcare that emphasizes patient-centered care and service. Unlike traditional healthcare systems where we have to bill insurance, patients have co-pays, co-insurances, deductibles, and all these other charges, DPC operates on a membership basis. This offers patients direct access to their healthcare providers for a flat, predictable, out-of-pocket fee. As we get closer and closer to summer, make sure to call the office to book your children’s physicals! We tend to get VERY busy between the months of June and September, so a quick phone call now will save the headache later on. Also, this is a friendly reminder that without an up-to-date physical, we are unable to: administer vaccines, complete forms (camp forms, medication forms, OT/PT forms, sports forms, etc.), refill prescriptions, order blood work, and provide referrals. So, make sure to schedule an appointment for your child’s physical so that they stay up to date!

As we have noticed personally and with patients, allergy season has been pretty rough so far.
