~INTRODUCING OUR THERAPISTS~

Simone Holyoak (LCSW)

We all need support sometimes, and after learning how impactful a good therapist with lived experience was for making changes in my own life; it became important for me to be the change I wished to see in the world, and shift my attention to helping to support others in the same way I had been helped.

After an adventurous life including a turbulent youth, an enlistment in the Army, raising kids as a single mother, and a wide array of life experience; I have developed a strong tendency to focus on and build strengths. I have tremendous compassion for those I work with and look forward to working together to build the life you hope for.

I serve those struggling with a wide array of challenges; my focus has been to help those with anxiety, attachment challenges, complex trauma and relationship challenges in a relaxed safe atmosphere. I have experience serving first-mothers/relinquishment trauma and a wide array of challenges related to abandonment trauma and unresolved/complex grief. I welcome all clients and offer non-judgmental, person centered care and am friendly/aware with a diverse array of lifestyles.

I provide EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) care integrating IFS (Internal Family Systems care) as appropriate, as well as Intensive DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) services. I am PAT (Psychedelic Assisted Therapy) trained and am able to work in conjunction with any Ketamine programs in the valley, and have studied extensively in other evidence based modalities.

I have a strong tendency to focus on and build strengths and look forward to working together to build the life you hope for.

~INTRODUCING OUR THERAPISTS~

Melissa Nichols (LCSW)

I was born and raised in Brigham City, Utah. I spent time in southern California where I met my husband. We returned to Utah together and have been here since 2014. We have two spunky daughters who are 6 and 12. During non-work time, we spend time swimming, camping, and traveling as a family.

As a therapist, I take an honest and direct approach and want to get to know you well enough and build a trusting relationship that will allow this. I have a strong belief that feelings of enoughness, connection, and belonging are crucial to a well rounded and fulfilling life.

I specialize in helping teens and adults work through depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, addiction, co-occurring disorders, attachment and role transitions. I utilize an eclectic mix of treatment modalities including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Family Systems Therapy and clients centered therapy.
I also intimately understand that life can be HARD! But also have hope that we can heal through these challenges.

~INTRODUCING OUR THERAPISTS~

Andee Bott (LCSW)

As a clinician, I love helping people become resilient and find ways to use their pain as fuel and energy to create the life they want for themselves and their families. I believe everybody has the capacity to live a rich and meaningful life and with the tools used in therapy this becomes a reality. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, families and facilitate groups. I use a strengths-based, client-centered eclectic approach of evidence-based therapy treatments. This includes acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), emotion-focused therapy (EFT), EMDR and solution-focused therapy. If desired, I can work in a Christian approach.

I am a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist trained from the Grief Recovery Institute. This method helps grievers deal with the pain of any kind of loss including death, divorce, pet loss, change of job, loss of trust, loss of safety, loss of control of one’s body and more. This includes working with parents whose children have experienced loss.

Specialties include: anxiety, depression, grief and loss, po*******hy addiction, trauma/EMDR, and couple relations.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy skiing, camping, boating, biking, reading, eating Crumble cookies, drinking Diet Dr. Pepper all while relaxing in a comfy chair with a good book. I have been married for 19 years, have four boys, and one Goldendoodle.

~ INTRODUCING OUR THERAPISTS ~

Kendal Pritchard, CMHC

Storytelling is a way we all connect with each other. My own story includes growing up in Maryland and attending college in North Carolina, where I studied psychology and had the opportunity to study abroad in Australia for 5 months. After graduating, I moved to Oregon to pursue my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Southern Oregon University. In 2012, I received my Degree and moved to Utah where I began my career as a licensed psychotherapist. This journey across the US and abroad allowed me to meet many new people of diverse backgrounds. It helped me develop a strong sense of compassion and offered many opportunities to nurture my love for learning about individuals and helping them heal.

I am passionate about helping people navigate their relationship with their thoughts and emotions. I believe that everyone has the capacity to heal and grow, and I am honored to be a part of that process. I have experience with a wide range of issues, including eating disorders, body image and self-esteem concerns, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship issues, and life changes and transitions.

I take an eclectic approach to therapy, which means that I draw from a variety of theoretical frameworks. I believe that no one size fits all, and that the best approach is to tailor treatment to the individual client. Some of the therapeutic modalities that I use include CBT, ACT, and DBT.

When not at work I enjoy spending time out in the mountains with my husband, our son, and our dogs climbing, hiking, and snowboarding. Closer to home, I adore baking and working in the garden or on wood projects.
