Today marks Ash Wednesday, a time of reflection, humility, and remembrance. ✝️

It reminds us of the fragile beauty of life and the importance of living with intention, compassion, and faith. As we begin this season of reflection, may we find comfort in hope, renewal, and the promise of grace.

We are honored to walk beside families during moments of remembrance and reflection. May today bring you peace and a renewed sense of purpose.

About Us

Sweet’s Funeral Home, Inc. was founded in 1950 by George W. Sweet (1915-1991). The family tradition was carried on by his son, G. Richard Sweet (1942-1997), and the funeral home is now in its third generation.

Our funeral home is a family owned and operated business. We are large enough to give our families the same service as the largest funeral homes around, yet we are small enough that each family gets the level of attention and care they deserve.

We serve the families of Hyde Park and the surrounding area.
