Not only does the name Pellegrino represent our owner and acupuncturist Christine Pellegrino, but the word pellegrino also means “pilgrim”. In today’s world we are all on a pilgrimage to optimal health, facing life’s obstacles of stress, illness, and injury. With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Medical Director, Dr. Diana L. Silverman, on December 26, 2025. 💙

Dr. Silverman was a gifted physician, visionary leader, and compassionate healer whose strength, wisdom, and light touched everyone she met. As a breast surgical oncologist and cancer survivor, she devoted her life to caring for others with extraordinary empathy and grace—transforming her own journey into healing and hope for so many.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
At Pellegrino, her influence was profound. She helped shape our Integrative Cancer Center into a place of true whole‑person healing, where body, mind, and spirit are nurtured with equal care. Her compassion and brilliance will remain a guiding force within our walls and within our hearts.

Before her passing, Dr. Silverman and Christine Pellegrino laid the groundwork for the future of our Integrative Cancer Center—plans deeply rooted in Diana’s vision of integrative, heart‑centered care.

We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Sally Troyanovski, DACM, L.Ac., to the Pellegrino Healing Center team! 🌿

Sally is a nationally board-certified and licensed acupuncturist who will begin seeing patients on Saturdays starting January 10, 2026. She completed her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Acupuncture at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minnesota, where she graduated as valedictorian of her class. Sally brings extensive experience treating complex health issues, stroke rehabilitation, neurological disorders, menstrual health concerns, and orthopedic conditions.

Her practice philosophy centers on treating the whole person — addressing the root causes of imbalance rather than just the symptoms — aligning beautifully with our mission to provide compassionate, comprehensive care.

Our Story

After experiencing a dramatic increase in demand for her services, Christine Pellegrino, a Licensed Acupuncturist, decided to open up Pellegrino Healing Center. Christine and her team aspire to treat, heal, and uplift as many people as they can with their new, multifunctional space. Currently offering services such as acupuncture, massage therapy, intuitive energy healing, yoga, qigong, laser therapy, mud therapy, infrared sauna, and Tibetan herbal foot soaks, Pellegrino Healing Center has built quite the following. In January of 2020, the center launched the opening of their new Himalayan salt cave.

Pellegrino Healing Center offers two-sided acupuncture treatments, massage therapy, intuitive energy healing, yoga, qigong, infrared sauna, halotherapy in the Himalayan salt cave, Tibetan herbal foot soaks, body treatments, laser therapy, nutritional supplements & more integrated healing modalities!
