Today, some of the incredible women in our community were celebrated in a truly special way.

Thanks to the generosity of Serengeti Care, who sponsored this beautiful experience, and the talent of ADalton Photography, our residents were able to step into the spotlight and be photographed like the goddesses they are.

This video is just a small glimpse of the joy, laughter, and confidence we witnessed today.

Because beauty, strength, and dignity don’t fade with age… they grow.

At Teton Healthcare of Cascadia, we offer a Rest & Relaxation Cart to help residents settle in for the evening and create a more peaceful sleep environment.

On the cart you might find:

✨ Sound machines
✨ Ceiling projectors with stars and northern lights
✨ Sleepytime tea
✨ Affirmation cards
✨ Earplugs and eye masks
✨ Lavender & chamomile pillow spray
✨ Books for quiet reading
✨ Lavender facial wipes

Today is World Sleep Day, and it’s a reminder that sleep is more than just rest. Sleep is when the body does some of its most important healing.

Quality sleep helps strengthen the immune system, repair tissue, regulate mood, and support memory. For older adults and those living with dementia, protecting a calm sleep environment can make an even bigger difference. When sleep is disrupted, it can increase confusion, agitation, and fatigue. When sleep is supported, it can help residents feel more comfortable, oriented, and rested.

At Teton Healthcare of Cascadia, we are incredibly grateful for our administrator, James Hammond.

Since coming to our building, James has helped bring many positive and beautiful changes to our community. His leadership has helped shape an environment where residents feel at home, staff feel supported, and families feel confident in the care their loved ones receive.

One of the things that makes our community especially unique is the impact James’ entire family has had here. They have shared their time, kindness, and presence with our residents and staff in ways that truly reflect the heart of long-term care. It’s a reminder that what we do here is about more than just a building — it’s about relationships, connection, and community.

We are grateful for the leadership, dedication, and steady vision James brings to Teton Healthcare of Cascadia each day.

Today we tried something new at Teton Healthcare of Cascadia… our very first Guided Meditation Sound Bath.

Residents were invited to relax, close their eyes, and experience gentle sounds from chimes, tuning forks, ocean drums, and singing bowls. Some chose to listen through headphones with calming bilateral music, while others simply enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere in the room.

It was beautiful to watch the room grow quiet as everyone settled in, taking a moment just to breathe and be still.

Moments like these remind us that wellness isn’t only about activity and movement… sometimes it’s about rest, reflection, and letting the mind slow down.

Because today was such a calming and positive experience, we’re excited to share that Sound Bath sessions will now become a regular offering for our residents.
