As stated before, this painting had a start in 2023 as the sky as seen but needed more to it than the sky alone. So, it took up bushes, trees, and grass in 2025. But it sat quite a while for the flowers to sprout. But in a rush of inspiration, after a long few weeks to rest, they bloomed vibrant and bold.

This piece is a reminder that peace and the "garden" we all desire inside is a process, but with rest, patience, and strategic action, a beautiful life is possible.

As a great teacher once said, "The process is the point."

It's been a big minute since I posted. I've been sick and honestly I don't know when I will get to say I have stopped being sick. But I'm hopeful it will be someday soon. I have been diagnosed with a pretty severe chronic illness and it's life long battle. Sending all my love even if I can't be there in person. 💕

I have been in a period of healing. Not just physically from illness after illness, but mentally also. I have been a period of rest and chaos all in one and somehow lost the drive to pursue what I love just because I knew it was for my best good. I have had to fight demons and years of trauma ailing me to my root and sheding and learning to forgive not just them but my younger self also.

In short healing is hard and it is ugly, but today I woke up and started thinking about painting again after a long time of having lost the vision.

I have a lot of cleaning to do to get my studio back in order but I am so glad and thankful for those who have stuck with me as I found myself again. Thank you truly.
