Hospice provides more than just medical care: A dedicated interdisciplinary team is at the core of hospice care. This team typically includes a physician, nurse, social worker, chaplain, and home health aides. Together, they address the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of the patient and their family. Services can include pain and symptom management, assistance with personal care, emotional counseling, spiritual support, and help with practical matters like insurance.

Who inspires you? My mom and grandma. Both have passed away, but both were resilient women who overcame difficult circumstances and thrived. They’re an example that no matter what, you can always improve your circumstances. 👩


How would your friends describe you? Resilient, hardworking, loyal 👥


What is the best compliment you've ever received? “If anyone could do the impossible it would be you.” My friend had so much confidence in my abilities that it gave me the push I needed to keep trying. 🌠


What is your idea of the perfect day? A day trip with my kids out of state doing some activity (example: zoo, museum, play, hike, etc.) -or- a day where I go either trail riding with my horses/riding my dirt bike in the mountains with my friends. 👩‍👧‍👦🌄

We had the chance to commemorate Rowen Gilstrap at the memorial golf tournament held yesterday with all of the funds raised being donated to the local Ronald McDonald House Charity at EIRMC.
