It's that time of year again where the Idaho Breastfeeding Coalition recognizes IBCLCs that have shown "exceptional dedication and leadership in promoting, supporting, and protecting breastfeeding and breaking down the barriers to it in Idaho." Very excited to announce a new change in the Idaho Lactation community. After nearly two years of back and forth communication with the Director of Medicaid, I'm proud to announce that IBCLCs are now accepted as Medicaid providers. We are excited to announce that Nestled 'N' Nursing is now accepting Aetna of Idaho insurance through The Lactation Network (TLN). This means that our clients who have Aetna of Idaho insurance can now use their insurance to cover the cost of lactation consultation services. (Telehealth excluded)

We are committed to providing our clients with the highest quality lactation care, and we are pleased to be able to offer this service to even more families.

Happy Mother's day!
As a lactation consultant, I've had the pleasure of witnessing firsthand the profound bond between a mother and her child, strengthened through the beautiful journey of breastfeeding. It's a privilege to support and empower mothers as they navigate this incredible experience, offering guidance and expertise to ensure they feel confident and capable every step of the way.

From those tender moments of skin-to-skin contact to the quiet hours spent nursing in the stillness of the night, breastfeeding embodies the essence of maternal love and sacrifice.
On this special day, let us honor and cherish the remarkable strength and resilience of mothers everywhere, as they continue to give their all, day in and day out.

To all the extraordinary mothers I've had the privilege of working with, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your breastfeeding journey.

I also want to thank my interns McKenna and Breanna, who not only are two wonderful mothers, but are working hard to also become lactation consultants in order to help all the moms in their communities.
