🎨✨ Happy World Art Day! ✨🎨
Art isn’t about being “good” at it—it’s about expressing what’s inside.
Today, we’re sharing a simple at-home art therapy activity you can try on your own or with your kids:
🌈 “Color Your Feelings” ActivityAll you need: paper, crayons/markers/colored pencils
Draw a large outline of a heart (or a person).
Assign colors to different emotions (ex: blue = calm, red = anger, yellow = happy).
Fill in the heart with colors based on how you’re feeling right now.
Take a moment to reflect:👉 What emotion takes up the most space?👉 Is anything surprising?👉 What might help bring more balance?
There’s no right or wrong way to do this—just notice, express, and be curious.
At Harmony Counseling Services, we love tools that help both kids and adults safely explore emotions in creative, approachable ways. 💛
Give it a try today and let us know how it went in the comments!
