Timmie John, LCSW: A Compassionate Practitioner. Timmie launched her counseling career in 2006, driven by a passion for trauma work. She has since helped countless individuals navigate depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other challenges. With a strong affinity for working with diverse populations, Timmie has established a client base encompassing from children to the aging population. As the founder of Harmony Counseling Services, established nearly five years ago, Timmie has also facilitated bereavement groups with Hospice of Eastern Idaho since 2005. Her extensive experience includes teaching at BYUI for five years and working with clients across the lifespan, from probationary youth to hospice patients. Prior to her counseling career, Timmie operated an in-home preschool, further demonstrating her commitment to working with children. Timmie has 6 kids of her own and understands what it means to be a parent. She currently maintains a diverse client base, emphasizing the importance of highlighting life's beauty and finding joy and meaning. Fun fact: Timmie loves music and enjoys playing the harp. She has recently begun playing percussion in a local orchestra and believes in the power of trying new things, no matter the age. She believes in the ability of people to heal, and finds it an honor to share in the stories of her clients.
