Doctor John and Doctor Kent are both great! Been seeing Dr. John for years. He is very experienced and easy to talk too. The front desk staff is also amazing. I would recommend them to a friend.

We love this place! Dr. Kent is amazing! He is so caring and really listens. I couldn't have made it through the pain I had for kidney stones and various illnesses without him. Our kids all see him. All the docs are great as well we have seen them all and never have had a complaint. The nurses are all outstanding!!

Dr. Bennett always takes time to listen to my concerns and offers suggestions. Today I sent them an email about a concern. They got me in right away, checked in, no waiting, concerns addressed, procedure completed, and I wa out the door within 40 minutes. Thank you Dr. Bennett and all the staff that assisted today.

We're excited to welcome Dr. Derek Kent to Southeast Idaho Family Practice! His first day at the practice will be July 8th!!

Dr. Kent, MD grew up in Marysville, Washington before moving to Southeast Idaho in 2010 to attend Brigham Young University-Idaho, where he graduated cm laude with a degree in Biology.

He attended Medical College of Wisconsin for his medical degree and returned to Southeast Idaho in 2021 for his residency training in Family Medicine with Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC).

Dr. Kent is married to an Idaho Falls native and they have 5 energetic children. He enjoys varied activities including long-distance running, reading, as well as hobbies in music production and painting abstract impressionist landscapes in acrylic and watercolor.
