7 year old has some speech- lisp and saw a myofunctional therapist- told until he stops thumb sucking he can’t help him- no ties - saw a Peds dentist. Is very oral seeking- sucks on clothes , chews on toys etc.

His 5 year old brother- no ties either is very very oral seeking- chews through the myomunchie in a day, oral seeking licking lips and face all the time resulting in rashes - no ties.

When I knew that I would be spending most of the month of February in New Zealand 🇳🇿, I thought that it would be fun to invite members of my Academy of Neurodevelopmental Practices to join me for a three-day private retreat 😲 I knew that it was a ‘big ask’ as it’s a long way to go, however, I knew that it would be a magical and profound experience! 💥✨

When my dear friend, Heidi Haavik offered her time and brilliance to the group, it only became that much more profound‼️🙌

Thus, was born our FIRST international THE Ultimate Elite Retreat! 🥳⛱️ Yes…..the crew is already planning more international adventures! 😉

How Kids' Neuro Outcomes Compare After Forceps, Vacuum, or Second-Stage C-Section 😉

"In kids followed up to 22 years of age, those born via sequential instrument delivery (failed vacuum followed by forceps) had slightly higher rates of attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) compared with children born via SSCD (7.9 vs 6.6 per 1,000 person-years; adjusted hazard ratio [aHR] 1.13, 95% CI 1.00-1.28). And those born via vacuum delivery had a slightly higher rate of intellectual disability (ID) compared with SSCD deliveries (0.3 vs 0.2 per 1,000 person-years; aHR 1.53, 95% CI 1.12-2.10)."
