Do you enjoy being a part of something bigger and helping others meet, or exceed, their goals and aspirations? If you do, we would love to speak with you! The Joshua D. Smith Foundation has been a staple in the Developmental Disability field in Southeast Idaho since 1986 and we are looking to add to our team of respectful, caring, and driven Developmental Therapy Technicians. In this position you will be working with adults in individual or group settings in both the facility and in the community. Therapy technicians will assist participants with building/reinforcing their skillset with activities of daily living (ADLs), based off treatment plans created by the participant and their treatment team. This position does require you pass a Department of Health and Welfare background check and be First Aid and CPR certified. Agency will assist with obtaining these certifications. The Joshua D. Smith Foundation is looking to add a Developmental Specialist to our exceptional team, working with adults. We are proud to have been serving as a premier Developmental Disability Agency in Southeast Idaho since 1986 and plan to support our community for years to come! This position will require a bachelor’s degree and, depending on degree, additional certifications may be needed, as well as passing a Department of Health and Welfare background check. This caring individual will be tasked with managing (attending staffings, writing/submitting plans, and performing plan reviews) a caseload of participants working on individualized treatment plans designed to help them achieve as much independence as possible. Some staff supervision of our evening programs may also be required. Pay is DOE and qualifications. If you have any questions or would like to apply, please send me a message.
