Check out our website for information on the ABCDEs of Melanoma and other resources on other skin cancers. Our physicians, Dr. Lindsay Sewell and Dr. Brandon Miner, have the highest training in the surgical treatment of skin cancer and have all have had fellowships in Mohs Micrographic and reconstructive Surgery. This training allows the highest rate of cure for some cancers, resulting in minimal scarring.

•General Dermatology: We treat all types of skin conditions. Acne, hair removal, rosacea, nail disease, wrinkles, brown spots, sagging eyelids, stretch marks, vascular lesions, laser hair removal, tattoo removal and more.

•Skin Care Products: Obagi, EltaMD, Skin Better Science, and Alastin are just some of the companies that provide us with lotions, crèmes, and cleansers that will even your tone, smooth out your wrinkles, and moisturize your skin. Today we honor and thank all the brave men and women who have served our country. Your dedication, courage, and sacrifice protect the freedoms we cherish every day.

We would like to take a moment to honor and thank our own Dr. Lena Gowring and our lab technician, Zach Taylor, for their service to our country.

Dr. Gowring joined High Valley Dermatology in 2018. Before joining our practice, she was stationed at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita, Kansas, where she served as the Flight Surgeon for the 350th Air Refueling Squadron. She then went on to serve as Chief of Dermatology at Keller Air Force Base during the final years of her military career.

Zach Taylor completed Marine Corps boot camp at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) in San Diego and trained as an Aviation Communications Technician.

We are proud and grateful to work alongside such dedicated individuals.
