Our lab is designed with kids in mind! 💉✨At The Pediatric Center, we use specialized equipment to run most tests using pedi tubes — meaning we can often do a gentle finger poke instead of a full blood draw.

That means less trauma, quicker testing, and a more comfortable experience for your child.

📱 Screen Time Tips for Kids

We know kids love their tablets and TVs, but balancing screen time is important for their development! All children and teens need adequate sleep (8-12 hours, depending on age), physical activity (1 hour), and time away from media every day to stay healthy and thrive. Try these simple tips:

🔹 Encourage active play – Outdoor fun beats screen time every time!
🔹 Create device-free zones – Keep screens out of bedrooms and at the dinner table.
🔹 Be a role model – Kids learn by watching you, so try limiting your screen time too!

The Pediatrics Center - Idaho Falls Office

The Pediatric Center is now offering Telemed appointments through your phone or computer! Simply book and attend an appointment through the patient portal. So easy and from the comfort of your home! We're looking out for you and your family. Call us with questions 208-523-3060.

The medical staff at the Pediatric Center currently consists of seven Board Certified Pediatricians and three Certified Pediatric Physician Assistants. We have been serving eastern Idaho for over 55 years providing quality pediatric care from birth to the age of 19. For your convenience, we have an in-house laboratory for necessary testing.
