Next up is our amazing biller!!!!

Hello. My name is Veronica. I have worked for Dr de Bruyn Kops since 2015. I am his billing and coding specialist. I work from home so I actually get to work while looking out at the Wellsville Mountains in Cache County; Wellsville, Utah.

I am married and we have 7 children and 12 grandchildren. My husband and I have been raising 4 of those grandchildren, so working from home is a huge blessing!

When I’m not running kids to Girl Scouts, play practice, or choir I enjoy quilting, canning, and my new hobby is sourdough bread.

I have loved working for de Bruyn Kops Family Practice and I’ve got to meet some patients and co workers who have turned into some amazing friends.

🌟 Team Spotlight 🌟

The third person we are excited to highlight from our office is Leah!! Our amazing receptionist!!

Hi, I’m Leah! I was born and raised in southeast Idaho, and I’m a graduate of Shelley High School. Go Russets!

I attended BYU-I, where I got a bachelor’s degree in English. I love to read everything from fantasy to children’s literature to memoirs. I hope to write a book of my own someday, but first I have to decide what I want to write about.

I play the violin, piano, and cello, and it is my fondest dream to one day learn the bagpipes. I love to learn new things, and some of my recent obsessions include embroidery, sewing, and furniture restoration. On my days off, you can usually find me looking for treasures at the local thrift stores or binge-watching my favorite TV shows.

I met my husband while he was attending school at BYU-I, and we’ve been married for five months.

I’ve loved every second of the two years I’ve worked at de Bruyn Kops Family Practice! I consider my co-workers family, and I’m grateful for the relationship that I have with all of them. It is an honor to be a part of an office that makes such an impact on the lives of so many members of the community.

🌟 Team Spotlight 🌟

The second person of our amazing staff that we'd like to introduce is Taressa, one of our wonderful Medical Assistants!

Hello! I’m Taressa otherwise known as Tess! I grew up in Michigan, and although I’ve been in Idaho since 2016, I still cheer the Detroit Tigers baseball team.
They say the state of Michigan has what is called “great bicycle terrain”. Even though Michigan is truly beautiful , it is FLAT. I absolutely love the beauty of the mountains all around me here.

My father’s family lives in SE Idaho, and I chose to move out here for college. I first attended Brigham Young University-Idaho and there got my associates degree in applied science. I then transferred to the College Of Eastern Idaho where I proudly became a certified medical assistant.

I met my now husband in Idaho during school and we’ve been married for almost 5 years. My husband and I enjoy gaming, movies, and hot tubs.

One thing I like to splurge on is fingernail polish. You will often see me with different nail polish depending on the time of the year.

We’re so excited to introduce the amazing people who make de Bruyn Kops Family Practice so special.

First up is Cherie!!!

Hi, I’m Cherie! I’m originally from San Diego, California (don’t hate me—I moved here in 2012 to escape the California chaos. No regrets 😄). I’m a Certified Medical Assistant and a Certified Peer Specialist, working with both adults and youth ages 12–17, and I'm very passionate about the work I do and the people I provide a service to.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our three cats and one dog, my mom, and my friends. I’m happiest anywhere near water, a bonfire, or a BBQ. I love getting lost in a good book, vibing to music, binge-watching shows, or catching a movie.

I’m a big fan of concerts, local events, Farmers’ markets, sidewalk festivals, and the Southeast Idaho Fair. I also love supporting local and small businesses—especially metaphysical shops and new food spots (just not big on seafood). If you have any recommendations, I’m all ears!

We are so grateful for the heart and dedication she brings to our patients every day. Be sure to say hello next time you’re in the office!
