BIG NEWS! The rumors are true. My future and permanent clinic home will be with Idaho Falls Surgical Specialists. I will continue operating and caring for patients at all three Idaho Falls hospitals, with an exciting new clinic location. I am incredibly grateful to join such a highly respected group of surgeons and look forward to continuing to serve our community. These changes will be effective March 2, 2026.

“Dr. McBride Has Been Promoted to Dad” is what the shirt says! We’re thrilled to announce the arrival of a very special new team member: Dr. McBride’s newest first assist, his newborn baby Callen Brett McBride!

He was born August 1, 2025, weighing in at 5lbs 3.5oz. This tiny but mighty addition already has a strong grip and a keen eye for detail, two essential skills in the OR! We spent 24 days in the NICU and took a social media break directly following our stay, but we’re back!

While this little one won’t be scrubbing in any time soon, the whole team is overjoyed to welcome the newest member of the McBride family.
