🍂 💫 Fall is for the Ladies 💫🍁

The fall decor is out, pumpkin spice lattes are flowing, and we’re all pulling out our best flannels. 🤭 And while that’s all fun, I’m also hearing from so many women that this season feels… a little unsettling, maybe even overwhelming. 🫶

That’s where INTENTIONAL SELF-CARE comes in.  It doesn’t have to be complicated or another “thing” on your to-do list. Self-care is simply choosing something that brings you joy and allowing yourself to fully present with it.

Self Care Moments:
☕️ Pausing after your first sip of tea to notice how your body feels.
🌍 Stepping outside barefoot for five minutes to ground.

Read through these words first, then close your eyes and guide yourself through this short gratitude.
1 Close your eyes.
2 Call to mind something you are grateful for.   (A person, a moment, a feeling, or even something simple.)
3 Notice how your body physically feels when you bring in gratitude.
4 Now, imagine placing that spark of gratitude into your heart center. Let it grow and expand, gently enveloping your entire being.

�Somatic Experiencing® is the practice of noticing how EMOTIONS & EXPERIENCES SHOW UP IN YOUR PHYSICAL BODY. 👉 For example, anxiety might feel like a clenched jaw, shallow breathing, or a tight belly. By noticing these physical sensations, we create the opportunity to gently release them.
�The same is true for joy. 💜 When something feels good, we can pause to notice the warmth in our chest, the ease in our breath, or the lightness in our limbs. 🥰
�When we release what’s stored in the body, we create space to FULLY EXPERIENCE moments of JOY. 😁

DeAnna resides in Fredrick, MD with her husband, twin boys and two dogs.
