2026 PM LAMB SHOW JUDGE ANNOUNCEMENT: We are excited to announce the judge for the PM THUMB LIVESTOCK BANNER BASH LAMB SHOW 2025 as Kyla Mennen.

Kyla is originally from Walton, IN where she grew up raising and showing sheep and pigs. She began her collegiate livestock judging career at Joliet Junior College. At JJC, she had a successful livestock judging career where she was recognized as an All American. She finished her collegiate journey at Kansas State and is proud to have been a member of both the 2024 National Champion Livestock Judging Team and the 2024 National Champion Meat Animal Evaluation Team, where she was also high individual.

Recently, Kyla started her position as the Livestock Judging Coach at Joliet Junior College where she is excited to advance the program and develop young livestock minds.

2026 AM LAMB JUDGE ANNOUNCEMENT: Judge announcement‼️

Hayden Demniak, currently resides in Carmichaels, Pennsylvania. He is a 2022 graduate of the University of West Virginia with a Bachelors Degree in Agribusiness Management and is also the Northeast Regional Sales Manager for Tarter Farm & Ranch Equipment. Hayden also owns his own club lamb operation, and goes by HD ShowStock. He currently manages 40 head of AI/Flush mated hamp-cross females and sells a yearly crop of competitive show wethers and ewe lambs. Hayden has previously shown livestock for 12 years and has competed on all stages of competition. His most notable achievement is being a 4 time Pennsylvania State Farmshow Champion Lamb Exhibitor.

We look forward to working with Hayden and having him come out and sort our AM lamb show.

2026 SWINE JUDGE ANNOUNCEMENT:
Take a look at our judge 👀 for 2026 for swine!

Max Look from Trivoli, IL
Ag Teacher and FFA advisor at Farmington Central High School

He graduated from BHE and WIU with a degree in Ag Science with emphasis in Animal Science. He was on the judging teams at both schools and excelled as a multi-species judge.

His family owns and operates Look Livestock where we run 25-30 sows consisting primarily of Polands, Durocs, Berkshires, and crosses.

"My goals for the day of the show are obviously to do an effective job sorting young people in showmanship, but honestly, that takes a back seat to the real spirit of the day. I hope that day is one surrounded in positivity and the realization that our blessings go beyond wins, loses, banners, or buckles. Our greatest fortune in this business is the opportunity to raise our children together within a community with strong values, faith, and culture. There's 2 things I know about the livestock industry:
1. Big, bendy legs are cool.
2. Our real strength always shows up when others are faced with adversity."

On Saturday, June 7th, the Thumb Livestock Jackpot Banner Bash partnered with sponsors to host 27 youth showmen for The Greatest Showman Swine Showmanship Clinic. Participants and attendees had the opportunity to listen to experts talk about skin and hair, show prep, feed and supplements, show attire, and got hands on showmanship practice with instructors. Participants walked away with a lot of knowledge and a bucket full of show supplies. It was great to see many participants put to use what they learned at the show on Sunday.

Premium Parking for the swine show has been marked, and I will try to have someone directing parking for premium buyers. Spaces are approximately 20ft wide by 50ft long. Please try to stay off the gravel so those who purchased spaces #9 and #10 can access their spaces easily.
