Today we raise awareness about Tuberculosis (TB) a preventable and treatable disease that still impacts millions worldwide.

TB spreads through the air when a person with active TB coughs or sneezes. Early testing and treatment can save lives and protect our community.

At Imperial Beach Community Clinic, we’re here to support your health with:

Symptoms of active TB may include:

On 3/21, we celebrate and honor individuals with Down syndrome recognizing their abilities, strengths, and the importance of inclusion in our community.

World Down Syndrome Day is observed on 3/21 to represent the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome. Today is about spreading awareness, promoting acceptance, and advocating for equal opportunities for all.

Stories like that of Dr. James McCune Smith, who was the first African American to earn a medical degree. Who despite great odds left his legacy as not only a great physician but a man who fought for the rights of others. Let’s learn about these stories today so that they can be carried on past tomorrow.

Este mes queremos destacar las historias de las personas afroamericanas, sus experiencias y su dedicación a nuestras comunidades. Historias como la del Dr. James McCune Smith, el primer afroamericano en obtener un título de medicina.
