Revel is making great progress!

On Monday my trainer Emma said it was time to start really working hard.... and she got ON me.. I prefer the stuffed giraffe, it's not near as heavy!!

Anyhow, I was a bit confused and rusty but I tried my hardest and didn't give her any funny business.

Oh hello there people!!

I'm a bit new here. I'm just a baby (weanling) and my owner sent me to Pre-k here at the Black Star Stables School of Excellence.

I can't wait to learn all the important skills to set me up for a wonderful future. And I'm just as smart as I am pretty, if you were wondering!

I've been here 4 days now, and the school meals are pretty yummy. My classroom is nice and big and last night I got to go out on the playground and stretch my legs some and boy did I get some zoomies!

I guess that was a reward for letting them put this annoying thing on my head. It tickles my nose and I think it's ridiculous, but it has helped me learn how to walk beside my teachers.

My sire is He Takes My Breath Away and my dame is daughter of Sweet Talking Chip and Reinvest in Gold.

She was adopted a few years ago and is a wonderful mare!

Her favorite thing here was taking long naps and snoring loud enough to be heard in the front yard!

Age is just a number!! Skeeter will be 27 in May. He is a registered Paso Fino who came to Black Star through Heart of Phoenix Equine Rescue, INC to find his home.

He definitely hit the jackpot with Samantha Youngblood

Revel wants to thank BUCKEYE Nutrition for the treats! They donated 50 bags for prizes at the Appalachian Trainer Face Off and he was lucky enough to win one!

P.S. He says its ridiculous he is only allowed one and hopes to soon be adopted so he isn't subjected to such blasphemy!!

Boone initially came to us for some corrective training under saddle, but ended up needing some rehab to start. His rehab went well and he was able to complete his ground work.

We are now working on retraining him under saddle and correcting some of his prior bad experiences.
