🐾 Fun with Pups at the Rehabilitation Center of Independence! 🐶❤️

Today, our residents had a pawsitively amazing time with our furry friends! 🐕✨ Pet therapy has been such a wonderful addition to our community, and the benefits for our seniors are truly heartwarming.

🌟 Here are just a few ways pet therapy makes a difference:

• Emotional Support: Our furry companions provide unconditional love and comfort, reducing feelings of loneliness and depression.

• Physical Activity: Engaging with pets encourages movement and exercise, which is great for overall health!

• Social Interaction: Spending time with pets fosters social connections, helping to build friendships among residents.

• Stress Relief: Petting and playing with animals can lower stress levels and promote relaxation.

We had an amazing time hosting a magic show with Three Oaks Hospice at RCI! 🎩✨ The atmosphere was filled with laughter and wonder as our residents enjoyed incredible tricks and illusions.

A big thank you to the talented performers from Three Oaks Hospice for bringing joy and smiles to our community. It was a night to remember, and we can’t wait for more magical moments in the future!
