Today is World AIDS Day.

HIV continues to hit Black communities hardest.
Black/African American people make up just 12% of the U.S. population but account for nearly 38% of new HIV diagnoses. Young Black people and Black men who have s*x with men are especially affected.

Today, we honor lives lost and celebrate the resilience of Black communities living with HIV.

On November 20 we honor Transgender Day of Remembrance, a day to remember trans and gender-expansive people whose lives were lost to violence, and to reflect on how policy, prejudice, and silence contribute to that harm. Trans lives matter, and their safety is our responsibility. 💙🩷🤍
