Dr. Amanda Johnson, D.C.
Dr. Amanda Johnson, D.C. was born and raised in Independence, Ks. Growing up she developed an ardent love for animals, the outdoors, and all living things. This inspired her to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Science with a major in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Physical Science from Pittsburg State University. Dr. Johnson went on to follow in her father’s footsteps and study at Cleveland Chiropractic College, finishing the Doctorate program in 2008. Upon graduation, she returned home to Independence to begin a private practice. Dr. Johnson has been performing acupuncture since 2010 and has a keen interest in nutritional support and healing. Dr. Johnson enjoys positively impacting lives by serving others with a natural approach to healthcare.
Dr. Johnson is interested in the field of positive psychology, lifelong learning, and home diy projects. Her free time is spent with her family and pets, outdoors, and traveling. In the future she plans to participate in volunteer work abroad, in addition to continuing to serve her community.
