What a fun-filled week it has been! 🎉

This week our residents enjoyed a trip to the casino, a delicious outing to Poppie’s in Waterloo, and even got to watch a fascinating 3-D printing machine demonstration! Monday we had a blast tie-dyeing hats and shirts and for bingo Wednesday, residents enjoyed special W***y Wonka-inspired sodas. Today we wrapped things up with tasty ice cream treats and manicures this afternoon! We can’t wait till tomorrow because Elvis is in the building LIVE! 🎤✨

A very special shoutout goes to Heather *nurse manager, her husband Jack, and their son Riley for the countless decorations, holiday surprises, and thoughtful creations they make for our residents throughout the year with their 3-D creations. These beautiful roses they made for all of our residents were such a sweet touch! We truly appreciate all the time and care they put into making our residents feel extra special and loved. ❤️🌹

It has truly been a week full of fun, laughter, and wonderful memories.💕

We want to thank Dave McLaren, Director of Plant Operations, and Jennifer Dettbarn, Maintenance Coordinator, for the wonderful Mayday baskets and homemade cookies for our residents. The maintenance team consistently goes above and beyond for staff, residents, and the facility. Whether fixing small issues or tackling large projects, your positive attitude and hard work keep everything running smoothly.

We truly appreciate all you do and are grateful to have such a dedicated team supporting us daily.

Also… Dave the cookies we received were hands down the BEST cookies ever! 🍪😋 You definitely spoiled us! We need the secret recipe!!

Mother’s Day is coming up, and we’re planning something extra special 💐

On May 8th at 9:30 AM, we’re hosting a DIY flower bar where our moms can create their own beautiful bouquets (because let’s be honest… they deserve way more than another candle 😅).

Here’s where we could use a little help, if you have any flowers blooming in your yard that you’d be willing to share, we’d LOVE to use them! Instead of just impressing your neighbors, they could be part of something really special 🌸

No amount is too small. One stem or a whole bunch, we’ll happily take them! We promise they’ll be going to some very deserving moms.
