Ash Wednesday begins the season of Lent, a time to pause, reflect, and realign our hearts. The ashes mark a beginning, a choice to approach this season with honesty and intention. Today is an invitation to slow down, turn inward, and make space for prayer and renewal. May this season lead us gently toward hope, peace, and transformation.

There is no right way to grieve, and there is no single coping skill that works for everyone. Coping skills are about discovering what helps you feel even slightly more grounded, whether that’s connection, routine, creativity, or rest, and giving yourself permission to use those supports when you need them.

With the weather slowly warming up and the sun shining a little longer each day, it’s hard not to start thinking about summer… which means camp season is right around the corner!

Charting New Territory together, our wilderness-themed grief camps provide a supportive and engaging experience for grieving children and teens. Campers enjoy a meaningful blend of outdoor adventure and creative activities, alongside age-appropriate grief support led by professional clinicians and trained volunteers.

Through art, games, and guided small-group conversations, campers are given space to share their stories, express their emotions, build healthy coping skills, and connect with peers who truly understand. For those who may feel isolated or misunderstood, camp becomes a welcoming place to be themselves and discover they are not alone.

Summer will be here before we know it, now is the time to apply.
