What a great day at Zon! Today, our residents had an amazing time at Cooking With Chef Kyle. Residents truly enjoyed the conversation with Chef Kyle while sampling and savoring his incredible culinary creations. It was a fun, engaging, and delicious experience for everyone involved!

What a great way to start 2026 but with a day of Fitness!!! We welcomed our new therapy company Aegis with a day of new fitness classes, resident volleyball game and ended the day with Zumba class with our Executive Director Alfredo. We would like to introduce Brad Therapy Director and Lindsey Wellness Director. We are excited to partner with Aegis for our resident needs. Let’s get fit 2026!

Our residents had an amazing time celebrating at our Great Gatsby–themed evening. With live music, delicious food and desserts, and specialty cocktails, the night was filled with laughter, incredible music, and some impressive dance moves!

A heartfelt thank you to all the family members and friends who joined us to ring in the New Year alongside our residents and staff. Your presence made the evening even more special.

And a huge thank you to the Zon Beachside team for creating a memorable night that truly captured the spirit of celebration and community.

Happy 2026! We are so excited to see what new and amazing memories we will create together in the year ahead.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Happy Hour on the Patio this year! Our final patio session last Thursday truly ended with a bang, as we enjoyed a full patio of family members and the wonderful Pearl Joy leading us in our favorite Christmas carols. We can’t wait to welcome you back in the spring when the weather warms up!

Zon Beachside Residents Witness Sea Turtle Release

The residents at Zon Beachside were thrilled to be part of such an incredible experience! On October 1, 2025, they gathered at Pelican Beach Park in Satellite Beach to witness the release of Bugs, a juvenile green sea turtle, back into the ocean.

Bugs had spent the past five months at the Brevard Zoo’s Sea Turtle Healing Center after arriving in April with severe barnacle encrustations on its shell, which caused fractures and tissue damage. Thanks to the dedicated care of the Healing Center team, Bugs made a full recovery.

The release, open to the public and weather permitting, was a truly special event—highlighting both the resilience of wildlife and the important role of conservation efforts. Seeing Bugs return to the ocean was a moment of joy and inspiration for everyone in attendance, especially our Zon Beachside residents.
