Sometimes you don't need to fly across the ocean to find yourself again.

Sometimes you just need a weekend on a lake with the right women and the right guide.

I'm hosting a retreat at Wiawaka on Lake George this August β€” a full day and a half of mindfulness, real conversation, rest, and the kind of clarity that only comes when you actually stop for a minute.

August 10-11. Limited spots. Right in our backyard.

DM me WIAWAKA or click the link in my bio for details. 🌊

This time of year I always get the itch to plan. To plant. To start things.

And I've learned to pay attention to that feeling instead of talking myself out of it.

Something is stirring for me this spring β€” a new offering, a new way of bringing women together, a next chapter I'm just starting to sketch out.

I'm not ready to share all of it yet. But I'll say this: if you've ever wished there was a space specifically designed for women who are ready to stop putting themselves last β€” stay close.

Something good is coming. 🌱

What are YOU planting this spring? πŸ‘‡

What if the most powerful thing you could do in a hard moment is just get curious? πŸ€”

Not agree. Not pretend everything is fine. Just pause long enough to ask: what's actually going on here?

I wrote about that tiny moment before the reaction this week, the one most of us blow right past, and what happens when we choose curiosity over criticism instead.

Spoiler: it changed my marriage. And it might change a few of your relationships too. πŸ’™

Come read it and tell me your story in the comments. I'd love to hear it.

You can't rush a seed.

You can water it, give it light, create the right conditions β€” but ultimately it grows on its own timeline, not yours.

The same is true for healing. For change. For becoming.

Do the work. Trust the timeline. πŸ’›

I wrote Mindful Humaning during a season of asking hard questions.

Am I actually living the way I want to live? Am I responding to my life or just reacting to it? What would it look like to be more awake to what's actually happening β€” in my relationships, my work, my own head?

Spring feels like the right time to pick it up if you haven't yet.

It's practical, honest, and written for real humans β€” not people who have two hours a day to meditate.

You know what the Azores look like in July?

Like spring never left. Green everywhere. Ocean everywhere. The kind of beauty that makes your nervous system just... exhale.

If you've been in a long winter β€” literally or figuratively β€” this retreat was designed for that exact moment when you're ready to start over.

We'll do the inner work AND soak up one of the most stunning places on earth while we do it.

July 2027. DM me AZORES and get on the list before spots fill. 🌿🌊

People talk about spring like it just arrives one day, all sunshine and flowers.

Up here it doesn't work like that. It's weeks of mud and grey and almost-but-not-yet before anything actually blooms.

And honestly? I think that in-between season is where the most interesting stuff happens. For nature and for people.

I've been sitting with a few seeds of my own lately β€” ideas, dreams, things I'm not quite ready to announce but that are definitely taking root.

Are you in a season of waiting right now? What are you quietly growing? πŸ‘‡

Hello Love 🌿

Can you feel it? That little shift in the air? Spring is coming and with it comes this beautiful invitation to slow down before we speed up.

This week's Sunday love letter is about one of my favorite practices: the Seasonal Review. It's basically a gentle, honest look at the past few months so you can move into the next season with intention instead of just momentum.

We're talking:
βœ… What to STOP
βœ… What to KEEP
βœ… What to START

I share my own answers in the letter too, including the one that my family is VERY grateful I committed to. πŸ˜‚

And if you're in survival mode right now and a season review sounds like one more thing you don't have bandwidth for? I wrote something for you in there too. I see you. πŸ’™

Drop a 🌱 in the comments if you're ready for a fresh start this spring, and share this with someone who needs permission to pause and reflect.

That's actually a pretty good life strategy.

You don't have to be in full bloom to be growing. Sometimes the most important work is happening underground where nobody can see it yet.

Keep showing up. πŸ’›

Spring feels like the right time to ask: what are you ready to let go of?

Old reactions. Old stories. Old patterns that made sense once but don't anymore.

Mindful Humaning started as my attempt to answer that question for myself β€” and ended up being a roadmap for anyone who's tired of being hijacked by autopilot.

If this is the season you're finally ready to do things differently, it's a good place to start.

There's something that happens when you take a woman out of her everyday environment and put her somewhere breathtaking.

The noise quiets. The real stuff surfaces. And suddenly she remembers who she is underneath all the roles she plays.

That's what the Azores retreat is designed to do β€” not just give you a break from your life, but give you back to yourself.

We're talking ocean views, deep conversations, practical mindfulness tools, and a group of women who will feel like your people by day two.

My daughter is 13. I teach 8th graders. So basically, I live in a constant masterclass on emotional regulation β€” theirs and mine.

Here's what I've learned: teenagers don't need perfect adults. They need honest ones.

The most powerful thing I can do for my daughter and my students is let them see me catch myself, name it, and try again.

Not pretend perfection. Actually model the work.

That's the whole thing, really. For all of us.

What did you model for someone younger than you this week β€” intentionally or not? πŸ‘‡
