We are looking for a CMA/RMA that is known to light up a room with their presence and believes a smile changes an atmosphere ; if that is you we would love to hear from you. The candidate we are looking for has an outgoing bubbly personality that radiates positvity. Also has a passion for making patients day a little brighter and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our patients.

Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

The CMA/RMA is responsible for assisting the provider with patient care, performing injections, and preparing the exams rooms.

Triaging patients: take vitals, record patient history, documenting why the patient is here and be very detailed, and preparing patients for exams.
Able to perform an EKG.
Administer injections and vaccines.
Answering phones, handle call back messages
Manage patients charts to ensure information is completed and accurate.
Scribe for provider (go into the rooms with the provider and document what they are stating)
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Must be a critical thinker.
Will help with medical records, referrals and other duties assigned by the practice manager.

Qualification Desired: Ability to maintain effective & organized systems to ensure timely patient flow. Understand the urgency of getting patient back in a timely manner. Reliable, responsible, and detail oriented.

Education Requirement: High School diploma or GED, and graduated from a medical assistant program.

CPR Certification and current health records

Experience: At least one year in a medical office

This is a part time position could range between 24-32 hours a week. Work schedule Monday through Friday 7:45am to 5:00pm and every 3rd Saturday of the month from 8:45am to 1: 00pm. (you will work every other month or every 3rd month)

License/Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) Current documentation of a national certification for the registered medical assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).

Being certified or registered is a must or within 6 months of employment.

Job Types: Part-time (1-2 positions)

Salary: Starting pay $16.00 per hour

Our office will be closing early on Friday, Dec 22nd at 12:30pm and will not re-open till Wednesday, Dec 27th to give our staff time off to spend the Holidays with their family.

We will then be closing early on Friday, Dec 29th at 12:30pm and will not re-open till Tuesday, Jan 2nd.

Our practice is growing and we have some exciting news. We would like to announce Dr. Rajesh Rohilla will be joining our practice in January.

Dr Rajesh Rohilla is a board-certified internal medicine physician who enjoys treating patients 18 years or older. After earning his medical degree Dr Rohilla completed his internal medicine residency at University of Buffalo, CHS program. After completing residency, he joined veterans’ hospital in Kansas providing care to veterans and involved in teaching residents. He has vast experience of treating adults’ patients including outpatient care, inpatient acute care, hospice care and post-acute care. His interest includes preventive medicine, management of chronic diseases including diabetes, hypertension, heart problems, COPD and practice evidence-based medicine. He believes excellent health begins with education and prevention. Health care is best delivered by establishing personal relationships between patient and physician.

Outside his clinic practice he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, photography, learning new things.

He is excited to be a part of Palmetto Medical Group and is accepting new patients.
