Rates of Parkinson’s disease are exploding and a common chemical may be the cause. Dr Ray Dorsey, a neurologist working on research at Rochester Medical Center, says that trichloroethylene(TCE), a common chemical found in household items like dry cleaning agents, carpets and shoe polish may be the cause. Parkinson disease cases have increased 35% in the last 10 years and Dr Dorsey says cases will double in the next 25 years. The EPA found that employees at large companies in California were inhaling unsafe levels of TCE from the ground where these large companies had built their offices.
Dr Dorsey also explained that many cases of Parkinson’s disease could show up in individuals that had been exposed years earlier.
I believe that this is another reason to protect our families from exposure to the many products that we have everyday in hour homes.that contain harmful chemicals of any kind.

USA Today reported findings by Kaiser Family Health foundation saying that Gov Gavin Newsome of California has signed into law a ban on chemicals that are carcinogenic or toxic.

That will change cosmetics , shampoos and personal care products and will impact the world. He is banning 24 chemicals that industries use in their products. This may sound extreme, but by comparison the European Union already bans 1,600 substances in cosmetics.

Since 1938 our FDA has regulated only 11 ingredients, and could not even intervene when asbestos was found in youth products sold in cosmetics at Claire’s. The ban will not take effect until 2025, so you still buy the toxic stuff until then.

Breast Cancer Prevention Partners, an activist group, advocated for the ban because so many products in cosmetics and personal care products contain these chemicals that have been linked to breast cancer.
A salon worker in North Carolina reported years of suffering ill effects after continued exposure to products containing these chemicals.

Companies including Proctor and Gamble, O’Keefe’s, Jergens and West Chester based Three Bond international were initially opposed to the ban, but since California represents the 5th largest economy in the world, it will be easier for them to just manufacture one type of the product that make different versions for world wide or even statewide distribution.

But we do not have to worry. We have been using products from thee largest Wellness company that are toxin FREE for over 20 years

Still have trouble with CHOLESTEROL? Not at goal yet?
When a Doctor finds that the statin he has prescribed
has not brought your levels down to goal, the first thing
that 85% of Doctors do is DOUBLE the dose of the statin.
This results in about a 6 (SIX) percent reduction in LDL

The Pharmacist’s Journal of Clinical Excellence reports that as many as 67% of all type 2 diabetic patients take supplements to help control their blood glucose and A1C numbers..
Many of these supplements act in different ways to lower the numbers and some showing more significant impact than others. Reports of 15 to 20 percent increase in insulin sensitivity with 1 agent and A1C reductions of 5 to 10% reductions of others.
Explanations given for such widespread use in people fighting this disease that is the 7th leading cause of death in the U S are attempts to reduce costs of drugs, to reduce impact of the many side effects associated with the prescription products but also believing that these natural products are without as much risk.

Many of the products being used are actually listed as food products so they are not monitored by the FDA unless there are reports of safety issues and the FDA cannot act unless the ingredient can actually be proven as UNsafe.

Some of the supplements covered and side effects in the study were:
Alpha-Lipoic Acid (ALA) Hypoglycemic issues and thyroid issues

Chromium )Generally Chromium Picolinate , but another form is much better
Renal or liver can be found with excessively high oses

Cinnamon Use caution in patients with liver damage

The most prevalent side effect with all diabetic products is Hypoglycemia. Because of this the patient should always monitor their blood levels. If they have an issue or question their best source of information would be their Pharmacist. Physicians harly know about Natural products unless they have taken a special interest in this category while Most Pharmacist have received classes on this category, such as the special classes on natural products like the new classes specializing in supplements given at the University of Cincinnati.

Study shows effect on women doing cleaning
On February 16, 2018, a European Lung Health Study was published reporting astounding facts!

It is known that cleaning tasks may imply exposure to chemical agents
with potential harmful effects to the respiratory system. Further, increased risk of asthma and respiratory symptoms among professional cleaners and in persons cleaning at home is reasonably well documented. What This Study Adds to the Field: This study suggests that also long-term respiratory health is impaired 10-20 years after cleaning activities. We found accelerated lung function decline in women both following occupational cleaning and cleaning at home. The effect size was comparable to the effect size related to to***co smoking a pack of ci******es a day for 20 years
if you decide to ignore this study, at least check
to see if the home cleaning products you use contain ammonia, chlorine bleach, and formaldehyde before you use them.

The study concluded that long-term respiratory health is significantly impaired after using cleaning products containing these chemicals. In fact, among women, the study showed that the accelerated lung function decline was comparable to the effects of smoking a pack of ci******es every day for 20 years! That’s 146,000 ci******es!

HOW IS YOUR BRAIN POWER?

There is a growing concern in the United States regarding mental acuity and Alzheimer's disease.This week on PBS Dr Daniel Amen, a psychiatrist and author of the book "Bright Minds" discussed ways to improve brain health.
He was not pushing any products only his books and tapes that were given away with PBS memberships.
Some of the things he said:
.The American Psychiatric Association says that nutraceuticals have been shown to improve brain health
.Toxins in the environment and "personal care products" should be avoided
.Diabesity (Diabetes and Obesity) have a big impact on Alzheimer progression
.Proper supplementation with nutrition is helpful for brain health.

He mentioned particularly using Omega 3s, Vitamin D, probiotics for improving brain health.

He sounded like a walking commercial for the products that we share like Unforgetables, Acuity AZ, Florifyand Cold Water Omega 3s.

Did you know that over one half of patients that have a heart attack actually have normal levels of cholesterol?
There must be a hidden aspect that was overlooked. For years we have know the culprit and once again healthcare professionals are looking at it. The culprit is inflammation!
Inflammation is the signal that the body uses to tell us there is a problem. Whether it is cardiovascular disease in the blood vessel limning , inflammation in the gut with diverticulitis and irritable bowel desease or a simple ear infection.
When it comes to heart disease, a very simple (and should be inexpensive) test will let you know where you stand. That test is to measure the level of CRP (C - reactive protein).Folks with highr CRP levels are twice as likely to have a heart attack or a stroke as people with elevated cholesterol.
A series of landmark studies that began back in 1997 suggested that low level inflammation was even more important than cholesterol in triggering heart attacks. Dr Paul Ridker of Boston’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital says this means we have an entire other way of treating and preventing heart attacks and strokes.
I believe that this factor has been overlooked for years because of the push to use expensive drugs like statins. Now, however there is a new focus on inflammation, I think because we have found a drug to treat it maybe. The new drug is Ilaris (generic name canakinumab) That is the good news. The bad news is that it costs $200,000 per year.
We still have other options. We know that some probiotics act to reduce inflammation in the digestive tract to treat digestive tract disorders and several products with grape skin and grape seed extract also work on vascular walls.
There are even products now containing naturally derived things like Agelica Gigax extract, turmeric, devils claw and antioxidants like green tea and ginger to improve inflammatory response by your body.
Maybe it is time to go back to focusing on CRP levels to help people enhance their lives.
