— Before Dinner —
🥑 A HIGH PROTEIN BREAKFAST will keep your blood sugar stable throughout the entire day. (Try: a green smoothie with avocado, nut butter, ginger + water)
🥜 A PRE-DINNER SNACK will ensure you can better control your portions at the table. (Try: a large handful of nuts + 8oz lemon water)
— During Dinner —
🍽️ Speaking of PORTION CONTROL —
(Try: 1/2 plate of veggies, 1/4 protein, 1/4 carbs)
🥘 MEAL SEQUENCING the Thanksgiving dinner will boost digestion. (Try: first salad, meat + cooked veggies, carbs then dessert — that means eat alllll your raw veggies + fiber first before continuing on meat + cooked veggies, etc…)
— After Dinner —
🏈 GET MOVING‼️ The sugar WILL set in and if you don’t start moving your body you know it’s gonna go where you don’t want it! 🤣 (Try: going for a walk or playing a game of flag football)
🛌 Finally, get a decent night’s SLEEP! There’s nothing better for the body, or the mind, than some rest 😁
