The purpose of this position is to provide for the management and daily operations of the Indiana Drop-In Center. Located at 638 Old Rte 119 Hwy N, Indiana, PA 15701.
Education: Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: Minimum one year of experience working with people in recovery from a mental illness/substance abuse disorder.

Computer proficiency: Experience and knowledge of standard computer programs, including but not limited to faxing, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email, and the internet.

Clearances: Must be able to obtain acceptable results for required background checks, including Act 151 Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania Criminal History Check and Department of Human Services- FBI Fingerprints.

Other: Must have a valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record and dependable transportation, which can be used during his/her job.

Mission: To provide a recovery oriented, consumer run environment where people with mental illness have the opportunity for community integration, socialization, peer support, empowerment and self-advocacy. New Beginnings will achieve this goal by providing structured, consumer chosen activities, groups and projects identified by the membership that will assist them in their recovery journey.
